The deadline for the late entry has passed and we have almost 3000 participants in total including the model.
The Long distance attract the most number of participants, ca. 800. Number of foreign participating federation is nine and the biggest federation is China which send around 120 participants and most of them are member of school orienteering club. Both Hong Kong and Kazakhstan send around 30-40 participants.
Exciting races are expected in elite classes. China sends the best female team including Zhu MingYue, Hao Shuangyan, LI Ji, all of whom were placed 7th in the Relay of 2008 World Championships. Male team includes Xue Kezhan, and Li Xiang who got first Asian title in relay two years ago in Korea. Off course, Japan as a host federation sends best team, including current national champion, Hiroyuki Kato and Yoko Bamba.
